First Baptist Church

On the Brink of Eternity

  • Our 51st Annual Youth Conference will be held Tuesday through Thursday, July 18-20, 2023.
  • The conference will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday and will end after the evening service on Thursday.
  • The entire conference will be held in the First Baptist Church Main Auditorium.
  • Our guest speakers are:
    • Pastor John Wilkerson of First Baptist Church, Hammond, Indiana.
    • Pastor Charlie Clark of Solid Rock Baptist Church, Berlin, New Jersey.
    • Evangelist Scott Pauley of Cranberry Baptist Church, Beckley, West Virginia.
  • The cost for the conference depends on when you register.
    • During the month of April, the cost is $45 per person.
    • During the month of May, the cost is $50 per person.
    • From June 1 to the beginning of the conference, the cost is $55 per person.
  • The cost of the conference includes five meals: pizza on Tuesday night, as well as lunch and dinner on Wednesday and Thursday.
  • There is a $10 registration fee per person, which is all that is necessary to register an estimated number of delegates that you will be bringing.
  • The cost for housing in the dormitories of Hyles-Anderson College is $15 per person (including chaperones) per night (Monday through Thursday), and space is available on a first-come, first-served basis as space allows. There must be one chaperone over the age of 21 of the same gender for every 7 teenagers staying in the dorms.
  • Everyone who checks in on Tuesday evening will receive a T-shirt in one of four colors, which will make your church part of a team throughout the entire conference.
  • Because we'll be changing seating sections during the conference according to the teams, we'll not be providing reserved seating this year.
  • All of the competitions and activities will be held at Hyles-Anderson College on Wednesday afternoon and evening, with several new games added to our colorful midway.
  • Only those churches who have preregistered young people for the competitions by Monday, July 10, will be permitted to compete. No churches will be permitted to enter any of the competitions after July 10, or at the conference.
